Our life-size carved and wood burned shorebirds are painted in breeding season plumage. If you prefer a natural wood finish, we can do that. You may choose a bird with a smooth finish or with wood-burned feathers.

The shorebirds can be ordered with a dowel leg (traditional hunting decoy style) or with pewter legs.

All are placed on driftwood bases with shells and other natural materials as extra features. We prefer not to carve the larger birds such as herons or gulls.
