The first is a basic spearing decoy painted in the bright colors needed to attract Pike and Muskie.

These decoys have metal or plastic fins. They have been weighted with lead and carefully balanced to achieve realistic swimming action. Jim has tested each decoy to be sure they run just right -- he’s so fussy.

The second category is our fancy fish decoy, made for the collector. These decoys are carved and painted to depict their individual species. They are weighted, as fish decoys should be, but may not be properly balanced for swimming.

As an additional feature, you may wish to purchase one of “Jim’s Jig” sticks. Specially designed and equipped with line, swivels and heavy-duty leader.

Species of decoys include Golden Shiner, Suckers, Cisco, Perch, Bluegill, Pike, Smelt, Shad and Trout. Decoys range in size from 4” to 16.” Contact us if you are interested in another species.
